BRIANA BILLER (Company) A graduate of the Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts, and proud longtime local of South Lake Tahoe, Bri can usually be found chasing her dog through the woods on her skis or on her bike. Bri is highly involved in the local arts scene in Tahoe as well as the athletic community. She is thrilled to be a founding member of Black Ice as the company's core values align with her own as an actress. She believes deeply that theater creates conversations and change in our society and hopes you not only enjoy the show, but talk to each other about it afterward.
TOM CALLAHAN (Board & Company) Tom has been active in the Tahoe theater community since 1981... actor, singer, and dancer. He is also a board member of Black Ice Theater Co, as well as a board member of the Tahoe Arts Alliance. In recent years he has also been involved with set design/construction.
MOXIE FOX (Company) Ever since being shown the world of theatre from her families love of arts and music as a child, Moxie has been fascinated with the art of "putting on shows." She works hard to keep this tradition of theatre alive, running, and well for the community that raised her.
NEO HARNESS (Company) Neo Harness is an actor who loves all things theater, and hopes to dedicate their life to it. They enjoy listening to broadway show tunes and feel most at home under stage lights. Neo has been seen in Black Ice shows such as “Harbor” and “Rozencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead.”
RAE W. MATTHEWS (Board & Company) is a director and theatre professional in the South Lake Tahoe Area. She specializes in developing new works for the stage, and loves working with new playwrights. She currently works full-time as the Community Engagement Manager of the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival. As a director, she is particularly interested in plays that deal with trauma and mental health, as sometimes the revolution is from one mind to another. She is a founding member of Black Ice and recently joined the adjunct faculty at Lake Tahoe Community College, where she teaches several theatre courses. She has been an integral part in forming the partnership between BITC and LTCC.
BRANDON McCARTHY (Board & Company) Brandon is a long-time local of South Lake Tahoe who’s been involved in local theatre for over a decade. He's been involved in dozens of theatre and film productions across multiple positions from acting, directing, and everything in between. ANDREA ROGERS (Company) Andrea made her S. Lake Tahoe stage debut in last year's Broadway in Blue at the Valhalla Boathouse Theatre. She followed that up with featured roles in “Jesus Christ Superstar” and “Rosencrantz & Guildenstern are Dead.” She was also in Black Ice's production of the powerful “Sans Merci.”
RICHARD S. SARGENT (Board & Company) is an award-winning writer/director/actor and the Producing Artistic Director of Black Ice. He got his start in film, tv and commercials in NYC. After many years, he decided to move to San Francisco, where he performed on stages all across the Bay. As the city and his love for it began to change, he took the leap and moved to South Lake permanently. After spending some time in town, he realized there weren't enough opportunities for the incredible talent here to shine. So along with his amazing board, he formed BITC in order to bring edgy and human stories to excited Tahoe audiences.
